Dark-green and well-terminated verdelite crystals up to 3.1 cm in length (the slender one) are nicely intergrown with a coffee-brown, sharp
edged and water-clear smoky quartz crystal which has a height of 6.7 cm. The more dominant and thick-prismatic verdelite crystal has a size of 2.8 cm. At that the ensemble is accompanied by smaller pinkish to silvery lepidolite crystals. The striated verdelite crystals show a very interesting cat's eye effect. Very impressive miniature from the world-famous Cruzeiro Mine, Doce Valley, Sao Jose da Safira, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The piece comes from an older Swiss collection.
