Description:
Very interesting, thick-prismatic and yellowish-greenish beryl crystals (var. heliodor) up to 2.1 cm in size - intergrown with cuboctahedral shaped fluorite crystals up to 0.7 cm in size and freestanding on white to beige microcline matrix. The beryl crystals are mostly double terminated and show clearly visible zoned terminations. The fluorite crystals are showing an unique colorzoning: The faces are dark purple and inside the crystals are green. At that the fluorite sits on black, lustrous schorl crystals. This very attractive specimen is in best condition and comes from a recent and small find in the last year (2018) in the Davib East Farm area, Karibib District, Erongo Region, Namibia. Due to its aesthetics this mineral-combination is incredibly interesting.
